Added value for owner, tenants and customers
An association for self-consumption (ZEV) enables tenants, including MediaMarkt and Ochsner Sport, to use the locally produced solar power directly. The battery storage also increases autonomy and security of supply, as load peaks are smoothed and self-consumption rates are increased. For retailers, this means plannable, stable energy costs. At the same time, customers benefit from a shopping center that visibly integrates sustainability into everyday life.
Implemented in Energy Contracting
The owner incurs no investment costs from the project. Enshift was responsible for planning, roof renovation, financing, implementation and ongoing operation as part of an energy contracting model. This not only increases the ecological quality of the building, but also its economic attractiveness.
The project in Lyssach shows how retail properties can be systematically developed towards climate neutrality through the combination of photovoltaics, heat pump technology, battery storage and innovative business models with measurable benefits for owners, tenants and the region.
